Last night was an all-nighter, but I love what I’ve got for Challenge 4 and it’s almost dry at this moment. If you haven’t been over to check out the progress videos I very much recommend it – I took some video showing how I used the machine to insert into my little video postcard and I think it’s cool and very funny.
I’m a bit dazed today, with the lack of sleep, and so far all I’ve been able to do is knit desultorily on a pair of socks and send links to friends showing cute knitting patterns by other people. I’ll get a move on it soon though – someone is coming by to see the house later tonight and I’d need to tidy up anyway. When I’m deep in design mode I tend to shed scraps of yarn and paper, stitch markers, and ball bands like some sort of bear losing its winter coat.
I’m glad I have a day or two to put my brain back together before I have to get as much work as possible done on one pattern and two submissions before Challenge 5 starts. I expect that the hardest part will not be casting on for Steve May’s Crossbones Style Cowl – his pattern from Challenge 3 went up a few days ago and I covet it extraordinarily.
I do have extra Kenzie.
